Body in Crowds

Body in Crowds was painted while I was thinking about what it means to exist in shared spaces — especially how our bodies move, shrink, shift, or even disappear in the middle of a crowd. I was reflecting on how we carry our different identities in public — the parts we show, the ones we hide, and how they blur when we’re surrounded by others.

It’s part of an ongoing series called In the Name of Body, where I explore different ways the body holds memory, emotion, and tension. This one is made with acrylic on canvas — no added textures, just movement and contrast.
