Faultline is part of my City on Fire series, where I reflect on how our world cracks under pressure—emotionally, physically, and environmentally. This piece was made after the intense heat waves of early 2023. The cracked surface reminded me of how things split without warning, like scars on the earth. I used mixed media to echo that fragility and tension.
It’s not about explaining events, but trying to make sense of them in visual form.
