Original artwork, Acrylic on Canvas.
Body in Crowds was painted while I was thinking about what it means to exist in shared spaces — especially how our bodies move, shrink, shift, or even disappear in the middle of a crowd. I was reflecting on how we carry our different identities in public — the parts we show, the ones we hide, and how they blur when we’re surrounded by others.
It is part of an ongoing series called In the Name of Body, where I explore different ways the body holds memory, emotion, and tension. This one is made with acrylic on canvas — no added textures, just movement and contrast.
