What I Do
My work spans academic research, creative practice, sustainable living, and interdisciplinary collaboration. At the heart of it is a commitment to connecting knowledge, everyday life, and community through thoughtful design, research, and dialogue.
Explore the four strands of my work—Academic Practice, Art Practice, EcoUrbanNest, and SPACE Studies—each reflecting a different aspect of how I engage with the world.
Academic Practice
Grounded in research, shaped by teaching, and always in dialogue with the world.
My academic work centres on housing, urbanisation, and spatial justice, combining critical research with inclusive pedagogy. From published articles and collaborative projects to years of experience in undergraduate and postgraduate education, I continue to explore how academic knowledge can influence practice and public understanding.

RESEARCH

PUBLICATION

Art Practice
Rooted in abstraction, shaped by material exploration, and grounded in the everyday.
My art practice centres on painting, with a strong focus on abstract painting developed over many years. Alongside this, I continuously experiment with sculpture—learning through making—and explore new materials and techniques as part of a hands-on, intuitive process. I sketch regularly as part of daily reflection and idea development. My creative work is often personal, evolving alongside my academic and spatial thinking, and occasionally intersecting with community and research-based contexts.

SPACE Studies
A UK-based interdisciplinary platform and social enterprise I founded to connect academia, practice, and the public in architecture and urbanism.
We foster inclusive dialogue and sustainable development through conferences, workshops, publications, research, and community engagement.
EcoUrbanNest & Sustainable Living
An evolving side project exploring how we can live more gently and creatively in urban environments.
From balcony gardening and low-waste practices to everyday design experiments, EcoUrbanNest blends practical sustainability with visual storytelling.
